Rick Bartow::Dell'Arte

I am very pleased to announce that in May 2019 Dell'Arte International and the Wiyot Tribe at Table Bluff were awarded a 2 year grant by the California Arts Council based on my proposal to develop a full-length spectacle-based theatrical event inspired by the visual world and life of the contemporary artist Rick Bartow. I will serve as the Artistic Director for the inter-cultural project, which is scheduled to have it's premiere at the 2020 Mad River Festival in Blue Lake, Ca. My special thanks to Ted Hernandez, Wiyot Tribal Chair, Michelle Vassel, Tribal Administrator, Booker Bartow, Rick's son, the estate of the artist, and Dell'Arte International for supporting the process. I anticipate much positivity.
