In other news, culture workers have been underpaid, unpaid, and unemployed for long before the pandemic struck. I've recently started attending weekly Study-in-Action sessions with scores of other arts workers across the country who are fed up with the "starving artist" myth that undermines the capacity of culture-workers to sustain a decent livelihood.
